St. George Lycabettus Boutique Hotel, a 5-star hotel perched on the pine-covered hill of Lycabettus with magnificent views of the Acropolis and Athens center, chose Panel TV to digitally upgrade its guests’ experience.
The mandate was to create unique experiences using innovative *phygital applications and modern equipment.
Advanced digital interventions enhanced the modern aesthetics of the Hotel and effectively supported the digital communication in the hotel’s spaces.
Hotel requirements and project description
The hotel was looking for a reliable and experienced partner to design and implement the appropriate dynamic digital signage and communication solutions in its reception areas. The dynamic presentation of the hotel’s services together with usable information required a planned and elegant way of presenting the hotel’s services. Additional modern architectural needs adopted the use of digital imagery in harmony with the spaces and seasons.

Digital Virtual Experience Windows
Panel TV created a virtual window in the Lobby using professional displays and smart content management. In summertime, beach and waves crashing on rocks next to the sofa in the space are projected, while in winter the window is replaced by the illusion of a lit fireplace.
This changing visual experience enhances the dynamics of the lobby and helps in the architectural harmonization of digital and physical media.
The interior adapts to the seasons and creates an intimate atmosphere, making the hotel lobby a place of relaxation and aesthetic pleasure.

Elevator Screen Mirror
In a vertical arrangement and as an integral part of the mirror inside the elevator, a special Panel TV screen displays informative and promotional topics while guest move to and from the rooms, as well as the Restaurant. Guests are also informed in an elegant way about the hotel’s services, activities and selected events. Themes change dynamically depending on the day or time in order to be accurate and relevant to the hotel’s activities.

In the Reception area of the hotel there is a vertical display which directs and informs in real time the guests about the business conferences and events of the day on each floor and area.
It also displays dynamic messages and welcomes with personalized information supporting the work of the reception and highlighting selected services and proposals.
Flexible Content Management: Full control over the hotel's hands
To ensure flexibility and efficient content management, Panel TV installed systems with networked player/servers. Hotel management and the marketing department can easily and without technical knowledge schedule or update the content of the screens directly from any computer or tablet via the local network or the Internet. Content displayed is always up-to-date and relevant.
